Information Letter On PPI

Dear Patient and significant others,

You are invited to a workshop at the inaugural meeting of The Irish Society of Gynaecological Oncology.  The workshop will be held in the National Gallery of Ireland Merrion Square on Saturday 3rd of December 2016 from 9.30am to 12.30am.

The society is an All-Ireland venture encompassing all gynaecological cancers and will aim to advocate for you through improvements in education, training and research. This is open to anyone who has been affected by a gynaecological cancer (i.e. partners, adult children, women with a hereditary risk of a gynaecological cancer) or anyone with an interest in this area.

The society is aware of the importance of your voice in research. Greater involvement from you can make a significant contribution to improving our health service and outcomes (see information sheet). If you would like to attend please pre-register (at no cost) to confirm you place at www.isgo.ie or please see contacts below.

We understand if you are not in a position to attend. We would like your voice and thoughts to be heard. To facilitate this you can either fill in a brief questionnaire on www.isgo.ie and follow the link to PPI. You can complete a hard copy as supplied by your support centre and they will return it to us. Alternatively you can contact Sharon or Yvonne (details below) by phone or email isgoppi@gmail.com
